Ingredients: 1 package of oyster meat (drained of liquid) 2 Tbsp. chopped shallots 2 Tbsp. butter 6 bay leaves 4 c. milk salt and pepper
Cooking Instructions: The liquid is drained to keep the stew white. If you don’t mind a darker color use the juice and decrease the milk--the flavor is good.
Sauté the shallots in the butter. Add the oysters and sauté. Add other ingredients and bring the milk to scalding. Adjust seasonings.
